Daisy Umbrella di CB Design vince gli Archiproducts Design Awards 2023
L’ombrellone dalla particolare forma a corolla si è aggiudicato il prestigioso riconoscimento che celebra le eccellenze nel design
Daisy Umbrella, l’ombrellone disegnato da Carlo Basso per CB Design, è uno dei vincitori degli Archiproducts Design Award 2023, i premi che celebrano le eccellenze del design internazionale.
L’ombrellone, formato da sezioni a forma di petalo intercambiabili con cui creare composizioni colorate o monocromatiche, è piaciuto alla giuria multidisciplinare che ogni anno valuta centinaia di prodotti, premiando le aziende e i designer che hanno saputo dare forma a soluzioni in equilibrio tra estetica, funzione e innovazione.
«Aver vinto questo premio ci riempie di orgoglio» dichiara Carlo Basso, designer dell’azienda specializzata nell’outdoor contract, «perché è il segnale che abbiamo intrapreso la direzione giusta: un design che piace ad architetti ed esperti del settore oltre che alle persone che utilizzano i prodotti».

This beach umbrella with its special corolla shape has won the prestigious award that celebrates design excellence
Daisy Umbrella, the beach umbrella designed by Carlo Basso for CB Design, is one of the winners of the Archiproducts Design Award 2023 that celebrates international design excellence.
The beach umbrella – made up of petal-shaped sections that can be swapped to create colourful or monochromatic arrangements – met the approval of the multidisciplinary jury that assesses hundreds of products every year, awarding the companies and designers capable of producing shapes and ideas that harmonise aesthetics, function and innovation.
«We are very proud to have won this award» declares Carlo Basso, designer of this company specialised in outdoor furniture for the contract market, «because it confirms that we are going in the right direction by adopting a design that is appreciated by architects and experts of the industry as well as by the end users of our products».
