cbdesign was born from the experience of Tanjaya and specializes in the design and production of outdoor furniture for the contract sector.
A dynamic and cosmopolitan reality that starts from Italy and arrives all over the world.
Always attentive to innovations, while not losing sight of tradition, cbdesign was among the first companies in the world to revisit in a modern way the shape of the years 1950/1970 replacing the traditional rattan with the most modern aluminium and synthetic materials.

cbdesign uses only Grade A teak, from trees at least 40 years old.
The wood of our collections looks naturally oiled, honey-colored,
and smooth to the touch; even with bad weather.
It is normal that a quality teak, after some time,
develops a grayish patina that can be removed with
the use of recommended products or prevented with the drafting
of special oil. The coloring does not compromise the properties
of our wood that remains unchanged over time.
cbdesign weaving is one of the characteristic elements
of our collections, a real pleasure for sight and touch.
A skillful hand weaving of a high-quality rope,
comfortable and resistant to different weather
conditions, combined with different shades of colors,
gives an unmistakable imprint to our products.
The aluminium used by cbdesign is finished
with powder coating, which confers brilliance,
color uniformity and considerable
resistance to atmospheric agents, as well as to
chlorine and salt water.
cbdesign uses high-quality synthetic material,
which is UV resistant, non-toxic, keeps the same color and
withstands temperatures from -70º to 80º C (-|100º F to 180º F).
Furthermore, it does not change when immersed
in pools or in seawater. In the processing in which the synthetic
takes the form of a natural reed, a particular formula is used,
which makes it stable and compact even if left in the sun.
